In 2008, the Lord led Pastor Gilberto and his wife Gaby to plant a church in the impoverished border town of Naco, Sonora, Mexico. Burdened with a passion for both the spiritual and physical needs, Gilberto and Gaby began reaching out to their community with Bible Studies, Worship Services, food and clothing drives, construction help, gardening instruction and various other ministries designed to feed bodies and soul. In just a few short years, God has multiplied exponentially the little church that started with just 3 or 4 people. Missionaries Dave and Judy Buckert, from Tucson, serve as liaisons and mentors to Pastor Gilberto and Gaby.
