APPLICATION QUESTIONS:
1. What faction do you belong to? Which faction defines righteousness for you? Your faction, or Christ?
2. Is God calling you to give or to receive? If to give, do you judge the needy rightly? Did God judge you with regard to your debts the way you judge a needy brother or sister in Christ? If God calls you to receive - Have you asked? Or is your pride standing between you and the help God has already placed in this room?
3. When Jesus pronounces the “old order” desolate for its egregious transgressions - and when the destruction comes — and it will — will you be found in the old city, and be destroyed within, or in the new heavenly city, following the King who walked out before it fell? Are you clinging to an old order God has already left or will you cling to Christ?
