- The lampstand bears witness so that God’s presence and truth can be seen.
JESUS AS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD
- Jesus is the exclusive light that shines in darkness and gives life to all who follow Him.
- Only those who walk in His light escape the darkness; every other claim is false.
THE CHURCH REFLECTS HIS LIGHT TO THE WORLD
- Christ’s lampstands are the Church, called to shine publicly so others glorify the Father.
- Christ holds His lampstands; any that stop shining risk being removed.
