COVID-19 UPDATE
COVID-19 & Weekly Services - UPDATE
May 16, 2020 - UPDATE
The church campus has re-opened and our live, in-person services have resumed at 9 & 10:30 AM. We are so excited to welcome you back!
While we realize that some are not ready to join us, just yet, as we ease back into gathering, we want to assure you that safety, to the best of our ability, remains a primary focus. Those who are ill are encouraged to remain home and join us via live-stream. To that end here are some safety precautions that we will observe:
FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT YET READY TO JOIN US:
We will continue to live stream the service, Sunday mornings at 9 AM – please visit the church website to view the service. Children’s programming information will continue to be available digitally. Additionally, children are invited to interact with us by joining us for Facebook Live at 10:30 AM. See the church Facebook page for the live link.
THE LIVE, IN-PERSON SERVICES:
The interior of our facilities have been sanitized to the best of our ability and will continue to be cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis. Please bring your own coffee/water & pens. Coffee service has been suspended indefinitely.
SEATING IS LIMITED:
As a precautionary measure and to properly social-distance, we have removed half of the seating capacity from the worship center and have dispursed the chairs. In order to accommodate the reduced seating capacity, if the Worship Center is full and for those who may feel more comfortable in a smaller setting, over-flow seating will be available in the Youth Building.
CHILDREN:
We are asking that families with children who will attend the children’s programming, PLEASE TAKE CHILDREN DIRECTLY TO THE CHILDREN’S CENTER UPON ARRIVAL. This will limit exposure for our children and free-up seating in the Worship Center. We will live-stream the first half of the service to the Children’s Center and they will join us for worship through song from the Children’s Center. Children’s programming will follow the music.
PARK:
In addition to the interior of our facilities, the park and benches have been thoroughly sanitized for your enjoyment.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE:
In order to limit exposure, there will be one entrance and one exit. Following each service, we will encourage folks to move to the courtyard to visit.
COMMUNION:
There will be stations set-up throughout the Worship Center with sealed, prefilled communion portions. Individuals may serve themselves when ready.
MASKS & GLOVES: We are leaving this choice up to you. Come as you feel comfortable.
Blessings,
Shannon Huetter
Lead Pastor
